Tagaytay Hotel: Where there's FREE Wifi?there I will be! ? Tagaytay City in Tagaytay City, Calabarzon

How the offer of a free Wifi seals the deal when choosing where to chill
In these times, staying connected is not an option. It's critical. Even on days off and downtimes, access to the Internet. Simply. Must. Happen.
So where to find a place where I can park myself for a few hours and enjoy good food while I avail of free internet? Truth be told, this is a much better option than the common internet café which charges by the hour and rarely serves food. It's more practical to use the money for food and not pay for wifi (which some coffeeshops and restaurants do, bad!), but still get your online fix. Since Tagaytay is a frequent go-to place for me, I want a place to rest for a few hours (not necessarily stay overnight as that can blow my relaxation budget to smithereens). Somewhere that soothes the spirit, comforts the body, satisfies the palate?and has free internet connection, of course.
This is where Red Lemon Grill fits my needs perfectly: a nice, quiet place far from the more populated areas in Tagaytay that serves really good food at prices that allow me to make this a habit every week. It is one of the very few restaurants in Tagaytay that offers fast internet connection. So I get to update my status on several networking sites, check online news and shopping promos and send/receive email all while enjoying a satisfying meal. Service is excellent too as Red Lemon Grill's staff really watch over you and anticipate your needs before you even ask (like replenishing your cold water, producing an extension cord to plug in your notebook, or turning the fan in your direction). This is one place that takes advantage of the city's natural cool climate - no aircon. I love dining without the artificial coldness I've come to expect from establishments in Manila's hot, humid temperatures. But then, this is why I frequent Tagaytay: to escape the heat of the metro.
Aside from the food which is a mix of Filipino, Asian and continental dishes, Red Lemon Grill also serves delectable fruit and coffee drinks through their very own Adam's Café. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that their best selling mocha frap tastes as good as, if not better, than the leading international coffee chain's?AND does not cost as much.
In these times when connectivity is imperative, I am a happy camper when I get to eat well, with my iPad next to my plate. A blessed life, indeed.
