Tagaytay Restaurant Fantastic Value : View Park Hotel's Red Lemon Grill in Tagaytay City, Calabarzon

Deskripsiyon
Tagaytay restaurant that offers a fantastic value for visitors and guests at View Park Hotel Tagaytay's -- theRed Lemon Grill.
It was one of those days when our kid had an unexpected special non-working holiday that we made a quick trip to Tagaytay. Food is one of our family's passions, including discovering dining places that offer delicious fare at very very reasonable prices. Eager for another food find, we decided to turn left from the highway off Sta. Rosa exit and landed at the Red Lemon Grill Restaurant. This is the cozy restaurant fronting View Park Hotel and its adequate parking space made it easy for us to choose this from among the numerous eating places we passed by. This, plus the fact that the façade (where the restaurant is part of View Park Hotel Tagaytay), looks warm and welcoming.
Then we tasted the food. And decided that from hereon, View Park Hotel's Red Lemon Grill will be one of our favorite places to eat in Tagaytay. Why? Because the Lechon Kawali stayed crispy and melt-in-your-mouth even when it was not piping hot. The Bulalo was flavorful and done in the authentic Batangas tradition (read: with litid that makes it delicious). My daughter had tempura, her favorite, and she had a difficult time finishing because the portion is sizeable and really, can be shared with another.
What makes Red Lemon Grill so appealing to me is the value they offer. Take the lechon kawali - for Php 160 and two servings of plain rice at Php 20 each, two women can have a budget lunch without scrimping on the taste. Most dishes are meant to be shared and some, like the Bulalo is sufficient for a small family. Of course, if you've got appetite to finish off a dish by yourself, you're still getting good value for your money as the serving portions are sizeable and the taste, quite good.
Another feature that sets Red Lemon Grill head and shoulders above other restaurants is the attentive service they provide their customers. While we were eating, Red Lemon Grill's Ian smartly came forward and offered to cut the meat portions of the bulalo for us. We thoroughly our enjoyed our meal. This quality of service is something not readily available in other, even finer dining places. It also makes me conclude that if a customer who spends just one hour in the restaurant is treated with utmost concern in this manner, then a customer who spends a night in one of the rooms of View Park Hotel Tagaytay will be treated even more warmly (just because there are more hours of stay).
So if you're part of the ever growing tribe of smart, practical people who want to eat good food without spending a whole lot, stay away from the popular strip where restaurants and hotels are clustered. Instead, go travel the road leading to People's Park and discover that side of Tagaytay that is quieter, less commercial and laidback. Then you get a table at View Park Hotel's Red Lemon Grill and discover a place where good food is not expensive. At all. Which makes it possible for you, your family and friends to just keep going back for more servings.
